Jenn Air Oven
Jenn-Air
self-cleaning oven has
a special setting
that allows you
to clear the oven without chemicals or
scrubbing. The oven heats to a temperature higher than used for
cooking. The
extraordinary heat burns food spills
and other residue off
oven's inner surfaces.
Step 1
Take
away the broiler pan and any
utensils to
prevent them from being damaged. Take out
the oven racks, because
the excessive heat might discolor them.
Step 2
Wet a
cleaning material or sponge
with scorching water and
detergent. Wash off splatters or spills from areas that will not be
affected by the cleaning process,
together with the oven door liner and the oven's entrance frame. Wipe up any excess grease or spills on the oven floor.
Step 3
Shut the oven door and
press the "clear" pad on the
unit's contact pad.
Step 4
Enter the
amount of cleaning time. For
instance, two hours is
acceptable for a
flippantly dirty oven, three
for common and
4 for closely soiled. Cleaning should start immediately.
The oven will stay locked throughout the cycle.
Step 5
To delay cleansing, hit the "cease time" pad and
enter the
desired stop time. For
example, if it is 9 p.m. and
also you want the oven to
wash for three hours starting at 10 p.m.,
key in
the numbers
1,0,0.
Step 6
Whereas the
cleansing function operates, use the
scouring pads to
scrub the oven racks and
other utensils. As soon as the cycle
ends and the oven unlocks and cools, you should use a
moist fabric to
choose up any
free or burnt particles inside. Exchange the racks,
broiler pan and utensils.
